Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Completion of Assistant Store Manager Training program and required certifications.
• Strong knowledge of company policies and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership for the store and team working in the same location.
• Ensure employees follow all company policies.
• Promote and maintain a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Foster an environment focused on customer service and satisfaction.
• Develop leaders, empower employees and encourage increased productivity.
• Respond quickly to emergencies for safety and notify appropriate individuals.
• Execute merchandising and marketing programs and maintain plan-o-gram integrity and sign placement.
• Maximize sales and educate staff on selling initiatives.
• Monitor store activities to ensure transactions are conducted properly.
• Rotate foodservice products to keep offerings fresh and remove out-of-date items.
• Complete store reports and performance appraisals in a timely fashion.
