Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Leader/Assistant Manager to supervise crew, ensure superior customer service, and manage daily operations in-line with company standards.

The role includes training, opening/closing duties, merchandising collaboration, and maintaining a safe, efficient store environment. Strong communication and multitasking are essential, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates to ensure performance and customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, securing cash, doors, alarms, and daily operations readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
