Job summary

Five Below is seeking an experienced crew lead to manage daily store operations and customer service. You will supervise associates, assist with receiving and stocking, and act as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth opening and closing, cash handling, and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes staff training, sales growth, and merchandising collaboration while maintaining a welcoming, high-energy environment for guests and team members alike.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow customers with friendly, fast checkout and service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and monitor performance.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staffing.
• Open/close procedures including cash handling and security checks.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive sales and control expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery strategies.
• Perform routine store maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
