Job summary

Five Below is hiring for a store leadership role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and smooth daily operations. You will train crew members, supervise associates, and support merchandising and stock management to boost store performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and strong communication to keep operations running efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule.
• Creative thinking and composure under pressure.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring a fast, friendly check-out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for swift placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Occasionally manage opening/closing of the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure smooth daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on store policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
