Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role to drive customer service excellence and store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee daily activities, train crew, and ensure a smooth checkout and stock flow.

This hourly position starts at $11.50 and offers opportunities to lead and develop a dynamic team. As Manager on Duty, you’ll coordinate opening/closing, cash handling, and stores procedures while maintaining a high-energy, guest-first atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store when needed, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
