Job summary

Five Below is hiring a store leader to ensure exceptional customer service, oversee daily team activities, and maintain stock placement on the sales floor. You’ll act as Manager on Duty, manage opening/closing procedures, and drive sales through merchandising and staff development.

This hourly role starts at $16.00 and requires 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing stock for fast shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and World Recovery procedures.
• Perform routine store maintenance and housekeeping.
