Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leader to drive customer-first service, oversee daily store operations, and mentor team members. The role includes opening/closing responsibilities, cash handling, and ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The ideal candidate exhibits strong communication, can multi-task effectively, and has retail or management experience. This hourly position offers growth potential and pays starting at $11.50 per hour, with opportunities to lead a busy sales

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
College experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of management experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

Wows customers through personal contact and trains the crew on service standards.
Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high-quality customer service.
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep the floor replenished.
Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff.
Open/close the store, secure cash, and set alarms.
Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and performance.
Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
