Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable retail leader to ensure excellent customer service and smooth store operations. You will train associates, manage opening/closing procedures, and help maintain stock on the sales floor while driving sales and efficiency.

Experience in retail and strong communication skills are required; this is an hourly position with a starting pay of $11.50. Work may include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred for this role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wows customers with fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure service excellence.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep sales floor ready.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, and maintain alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Coordinate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
