Rack Room Shoes is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, training staff, and upholding company policies. In the absence of the Store Manager, you will carry full responsibility for store performance, sales, service, and safety.

You will lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, manage inventory, POS procedures, visual merchandising, and staff scheduling, while meeting operational goals.

Formación

• An approved background check is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Managerial and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer and employee interactions.
• Strong visual merchandising skills.
• Working knowledge of footwear, accessories and shoe care.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of Corporate and Store Operations policies and procedures.
• Understanding of Store Presentation standards and strong visual merchandising.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and service levels; train staff.
• Operate POS and handle sales, discounts, refunds; follow policy and procedures.
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving, pricing, markdowns, and physical inventory.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards with signage.
• Payroll control: scheduling, time and attendance, budget adherence.
• Train and develop direct reports; enforce training tools and standards.
• Loss prevention and asset protection adherence.
• Develop understanding of daily store operations.
