Job summary

Rack Room Shoes in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, report to the Store Manager, and help drive sales and service excellence.

You will guide staff, train associates, manage inventory, pricing, and visual presentation, and ensure safety and policy compliance. This role requires strong leadership and merchandising skills to deliver a premier customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle POS transactions per policy (Sales, Discounts, Refunds, Loyalty).
• Inventory control including shipping/receiving and price management.
• Merchandising and visual presentation to company standards.
• Payroll/scheduling and attendance responsibilities.
• Training and development of direct reports per policies.
• Loss prevention and asset protection.
