Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable leader to support store operations and guest services in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise crew, mentor associates, and ensure a warm, efficient checkout experience for every guest.

As Manager on Duty when needed, you will oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and safety compliance, while driving sales and maintaining stock integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers by providing fast, friendly checkout and superior service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor shelves full and organized.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room organization.
