Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable retail supervisor to ensure crew members wow customers through personal contact and a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will oversee daily store operations, assist with receiving and stocking, and act as Manager on Duty when needed to ensure excellent service.

The role requires leading teams, training new associates, and driving sales while managing expenses. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some overnight shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures duties are performed effectively.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening/closing procedures, cash security, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
