Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Management Associate to wow customers with a fast, friendly checkout and personalized service. You will help oversee daily operations, assist with new stock, and support onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.

You may serve as Manager on Duty, handle cash, ensure merchandising and stock are ready for customers, and work a flexible schedule including weekends. This role supports store goals and guest experiences daily.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers with fast, friendly checkout and personal contact.
• Oversee daily store activities ensuring staff perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and stocking to keep floor ready for customers.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and handle store operations and issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, set alarms, and prepare for daily operation.
• Support onboarding and training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive sales by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Maintain stock room and perform routine store maintenance.
