Job summary

Five Below in Gastonia is seeking a hands-on manager with at least 1 year of supervisory experience to lead store activities and deliver a WOW customer experience. You will train associates, oversee opening/closing procedures, and drive sales through merchandising and service excellence.

The role is hourly with starting pay at $12.00 per hour, and opportunities for growth based on performance and store needs. A flexible schedule including weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew members provide WOW customer service during checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and supervise staff.
• Receive, unpack, and stock new inventory on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, unlock doors, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates.
• Drive sales by merchandising, team performance, and customer service.
• Maintain store upkeep and housekeeping.
