Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly Store Supervisor to lead crew members in Charlotte, NC. The role involves ensuring excellent customer service, training staff, and overseeing daily store operations.

You will assist with receiving stock, manage opening/closing, and drive sales while controlling expenses. The position requires at least a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.
• Oversees the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer issues.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash handling, locking doors, and alarms for smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures to improve performance.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning bathrooms and stock room upkeep.
