Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to uphold the mission of delivering the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests in our stores. This role may also cover duties of Freight Coordinator and Visual Merchandiser as needed to support business volume.

You will oversee daily operations, lead onboarding of new teammates, and ensure inventory accuracy, signage, and customer service standards while maintaining adherence to company policies and loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older due to the nature of the job.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations to fulfill the mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for guests.
• Manage promotions, signage, pulls and markdowns, layaway procedures, and customer inquiries.
• Lead onboarding and selection activities, including interviewing and onboarding new teammates.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, POS knowledge, and adherence to exchange and return policies.
• Ensure security, loss prevention, and proper shipment handling; organize fixtures and shelving.
• Provide feedback to leadership and uphold Buckle policies and ethics.
