Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee daily store operations and guest experience. This role may also cover Freight Coordinator and Visual Merchandiser duties based on business needs and store volume.

You will lead onboarding, manage schedule changes, and maintain inventory, while ensuring policies are followed and losses are minimized. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations: flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as needed.
• Lead onboarding and recruitment activities, set up interviews, and onboard new teammates.
• Maintain inventory reviews, stock and shipments, and ensure proper paperwork.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software and guest payment/exchange procedures.
• Provide excellent guest service, handle inquiries, and resolve questions efficiently.
• Monitor security, prevent losses, and ensure compliance with Buckle policies.
• Coordinate visual merchandising, fixtures, and shelving; implement weekly visuals.
• Lead and develop team, give and receive feedback, and promote store growth.
• Fulfill mission with high customer service, teamwork, and special projects as assigned.
