Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking anAssistant General Manager to partner with the GM in delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding brand standards and core values. You will be involved in all store operations, from hiring and training to cash management and compliance with food safety guidelines.

The AGM will drive local marketing efforts, oversee scheduling and inventory, and lead teams to meet KPIs while maintaining store cleanliness and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar retail customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use Profit and Loss, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and scheduling/inventory tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Collaborate with GM to deliver quality smoothies and healthy products, review KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage cash activities for the store, including daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines by all team members.
• Champion and embody company culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep, coordinating equipment/facility updates.
• Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and team motivation.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team for proper execution.
