Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading the team toward an exceptional Guest Experience and brand adherence. You will help manage store operations, supervise staff, and ensure food safety and quality across daily activities.

The role emphasizes developing local marketing plans, executing promotions, and maintaining strong KPI focus to drive store performance in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar retail service.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence and scheduling/inventory management.
• Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives and events.
• Collaborate with the GM to deliver smoothies and healthy products to the community.
• Review KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement with the GM.
• Manage cash activities for the store, including daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines at all times by the team.
• Champion and embody company culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and coordinate equipment/facility upkeep.
• Drive implementation of programs and communicate marketing strategies to the team.
