Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering an exceptional Guest Experience while upholding brand standards and values. The AGM will be involved in all store operations, including hiring, training, marketing execution, and KPI-based improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, cash control, and food safety compliance, with a focus on community outreach and operational excellence across a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and the community, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in leading the team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill the mission.
• Use daily operations tools and inventory management to achieve operational excellence.
• Assist in developing local store marketing plans and community outreach.
• Coordinate with the GM to review KPIs and address issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage cash activities and ensure food safety compliance across the team.
