Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM in leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding brand standards. The AGM will oversee operations, staffing, training, cash handling, inventory, and safety, with responsibilities across marketing, KPIs, and community outreach.

The role requires strong communication, ServSafe certification, and the ability to work varied hours to run the store effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years as a shift lead in food service or retail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GM in hiring, developing, and leading the store team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Use P&L, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Logs, and scheduling tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop local store marketing plans and community outreach to support brand initiatives.
• Collaborate with the GM to deliver smoothies and healthy products and review KPIs for improvements.
• Manage cash activities and daily deposits.
• Ensure food safety compliance by all team members.
• Champion and embody Smoothie King’s culture, mission, and core values.
• Maintain store cleanliness and coordinate equipment updates.
• Drive implementation of company programs and coach teams to meet standards.
• Communicate marketing strategies and promotions to staff.
