Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty in the United States to lead daily store operations and customer service initiatives. You will oversee associates, ensure fast, friendly checkouts, and support onboarding and training while maintaining high merchandising standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally operate cash register.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and store security.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure customer service standards.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and stocking shelves for fast stock placement.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed with responsibility for operations and staff.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising and upheld service quality.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery processes.
• Clean and maintain store areas including stockroom and restrooms.
