Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within the district. The role blends customer service with practical property maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming storage environment.

You will engage with customers, identify storage needs, and guide them through the leasing process while meeting sales goals. Daily tasks include unit showings, payments, and routine upkeep to uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to diverse customers.
• Self-driven with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments via POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining facility cleanliness including restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, and neat office space.
