Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role in retail to drive guest experiences and oversee daily operations. You will train crew, manage open/close duties, and serve as Manager on Duty to ensure smooth operations.

Required are at least 1 year of management experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication with the ability to multitask. Flexible schedule including weekends is expected; the company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and directs applicants to its benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Must be at least 18 years old and perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew provide WOW customer service during checkout.
• Trains crew on customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty for store operations and staff management.
• Manages opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
