Job summary

Five Below is hiring a Part Time Support Lead in Holland, OH to guide crew, ensure excellent customer service, and support daily store operations. You will train associates, manage openings and closures, and help drive sales while controlling costs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic retail environment. This role requires flexible hours, including weekends, with a starting hourly wage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal service and fast, friendly checkout experiences.
• Oversees daily store activities and supervises associates to ensure great customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor ready for guests.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and urgent issues.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures alarms are set for a smooth day.
• Supports onboarding and training of new associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and manages expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs general store upkeep including cleaning and stock room maintenance.
