Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager for our Grandville, MI location. You will lead daily store operations, ensure a WOW customer experience, supervise crew, manage opening and closing procedures, and partner with the leadership team to drive sales.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and training of associates; improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with leadership on merchandising procedures and store recovery.
• Perform store maintenance tasks.
