Job summary

Five Below seeks a Support Lead in Grand Rapids, MI to drive customer service, supervise store associates, and manage daily operations. You will train staff on the BEST customer service experience, assist with receiving and stocking, and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

Expect to open/close routines, cash handling, and alarm setup while supporting onboarding and sales initiatives. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma (College experience preferred) and at least 1 year of management

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal interactions and outstanding service; trains crew on BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor merchandised efficiently.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff issues.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, sets alarms, and ensures smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and products.
• Drives sales and manages costs by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service quality.
• Collaborates with store leadership on merchandising and store recovery.
