Job summary

Belk in the United States is hiring an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and ensure a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and getting new merchandise customer-ready. The role also handles outbound merchandise activities, assists with facilities maintenance, and keeps back-of-house organized while collaborating with the merchandising team to sign and place product on the sales floor.

This is an hourly position.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from deliveries and prepare products for sale.
• Process sensor tag application, transfers, and RFID tasks.
• Assist with facilities tasks and store maintenance.
• Support floor sets, promotions, and order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize back-of-house supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with shoppers.
• Follow safety procedures and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure product readiness.
• Adapt to peak periods and flexible scheduling.
• Keep up with products, promotions, and store events.
