Job summary

belk in McKinney, TX seeks an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will process inbound truck deliveries, prepare new merchandise for the floor, and support outbound merchandise activities while assisting with facilities maintenance and back-of-house organization.

The role is hourly and involves stocking, floor sets, price changes, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and initiative in achieving store objectives and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons from truck deliveries, separate by department, process, remove plastic and hang items for floor readiness.
• Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes, including lighting, recycling programs, work orders, store maintenance, and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, product presentations, promotional sets, price changes, and picking and packing customer orders.
• Maintain daily operational standards by replenishing supplies, supporting store recovery, and organizing tools and equipment to promote efficiency.
• Stay informed of products, promotions, policies, and store events to enhance execution.
• Enhance in-store customer experience by greeting and assisting customers, especially during peak periods.
