Job summary

Belk is seeking an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries accurately and ensuring new merchandise is customer ready. This hourly role also supports outbound merchandise activities, facilities tasks, and back-of-house organization.

You will unload cartons, organize by department, apply sensor tags, handle RFID tasks, and assist with floor sets, price changes, and customer order picking.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset aligned with store objectives.
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Windows OS.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently unload cartons from truck deliveries, separating by department and preparing items for the sales floor.
• Complete sensor tag application, product transfers, damage processing, and RFID tasks to support inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities processes including lighting, maintenance, and housekeeping responsibilities.
• Support merchandising and store fulfillment teams with floor sets, price changes, and picking/packing customer orders.
• Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness, and organize tools, fixtures, and equipment to promote efficiency.
