Job summary

Belk is a leading department store looking for an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and ensuring current merchandise is customer-ready.

The role supports outbound merchandise activities, assists with facilities maintenance, and collaborates with merchandising to place products on the floor, handle price changes, and fulfill customer orders. This is an hourly position requiring flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused with drive to meet store objectives.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and Windows OS.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and prepare products for the floor.
• Process sensor tag applications, transfers, damage, and RFID tasks.
• Assist with facilities processes including lighting and maintenance.
• Support floor sets, product presentations, price changes, and order picking/packing.
• Replenish supplies and maintain store cleanliness.
• Organize tools, stock, fixtures and equipment.
