Job summary

Belk is seeking an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by processing inbound truck deliveries and ensuring new merchandise is ready for the floor.

You will unload cartons, apply RFID tags, assist with floor sets and pricing, replenish supplies, and support store fulfillment while staying flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays; able to lift up to 50 lbs. Maintain cleanliness and organize back-of-house tasks; work collaboratively with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership in achieving goals and daily priorities.
• Unload cartons, separate by department, process deliveries and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Apply sensor/RFID tags, transfer products, and support inventory accuracy.
• Assist with facilities tasks including lighting, maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Support floor sets, product presentations, price changes, and picking/packing customer orders.
• Replenish supplies, support store recovery, and keep areas organized for efficiency.
• Learn operational processes and stay informed on products, promotions, and events.
• Enhance customer experience by assisting shoppers during peak times.
• Contribute to a positive store culture and teamwork.
• Follow asset protection procedures and safety guidelines to minimize risk.
