Job summary

Belk is seeking an Operations Team Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience. You will unload truck deliveries, prepare new merchandise for the floor, and support back-of-house organization.

You will also assist with floor sets, promotional activities, and inventory tasks while maintaining cleanliness and safety. The role is hourly and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Dedication to customer service and a drive to achieve store objectives.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable with technology, including Windows-based operating systems.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move around store areas and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and organize by department.
• Assist with floor sets, promotions, price changes, and order picking/packing.
• Support facilities, housekeeping, and store maintenance tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers on the sales floor.
• Maintain clean, replenished, and organized back-of-house areas.
