Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district, blending customer service excellence with reliable property maintenance to keep facilities welcoming and safe. You will develop customer relationships, hit monthly sales goals, and perform daily tasks such as unit showings, payments processing, and bank deposits.

You’ll walk the property, ensure doors work, and keep the office, grounds, and restrooms neat and compliant with company

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
