Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will develop customer relationships, identify storage needs, and deliver a standout customer experience while handling leasing, payments, and daily tasks.

The role blends customer service with hands-on property maintenance, requiring daily walkthroughs, unit inspections, and ensuring a clean, safe facility.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening/closing storage doors, and general upkeep.
• Maintaining a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines.
