Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is hiring for a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within the district, delivering strong customer service and performing daily operational tasks.

You will engage customers face-to-face, meet sales goals, and handle leasing, payments, and basic maintenance to ensure a clean, safe facility. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a proactive approach to store upkeep.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining the facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning storage units, and similar activities.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (neat restrooms, landscaping, tidy offices).
