Job summary

CubeSmart is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district, focusing on customer service and basic property upkeep. You will engage with customers to identify storage needs, walk the property, and handle leasing, payments, and daily tasks.

The role emphasizes daytime hours with potential Sundays off, along with PTO growth, a 401(k) match, and health plans. You must be able to work Saturdays and have a valid driver’s license.

• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines (restrooms, landscaping, parking areas, orderly offices).
