Bassett Furniture Store Operations Administrator is an entry-level, hourly role supporting daily store functions, assisting customers with payments, coordinating deliveries, and handling post-delivery service inquiries to uphold Bassett standards.

The position emphasizes cash management, scheduling, and administrative tasks, with collaboration across store management to ensure smooth operations and a top-notch customer experience. Windows Word/Excel skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist design consultants with order entry and cash management.
• Assist ordering parts for customers (e.g., arm caps, table legs, hardware).
• Manage petty cash reconciliation and cash drawer balancing.
• Audit daily transaction reports and assist with sales order entry.
• Address post-purchase service concerns with customers and coordinate resolutions.
• Schedule deliveries and customer service calls; conduct satisfaction surveys.
• Process service orders and communicate status to customers.
• Receive purchase orders for parts or store pickups.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and documentation for accounting.
• Collaborate with store manager on operations, expenses, inventory, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with HR, distribution centers, visual team, and accounting.
• Perform other operational duties; maintain attendance.
• Assist with floor moves and visual standards alongside managers.
• Support merchandising tagging and updates.
