Bassett Furniture Industries in Town of Amherst, NY, is seeking a Store Operations Administrator to assist the manager in daily store operations. You will help with order entry, payments, deliveries, and follow up on service issues to ensure excellent customer experience and adherence to Bassett standards.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Conflict and problem resolution skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication with customer, co-workers, and management.
• Read, understand and write the English language.
• Utilize Windows-based software, including Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist design consultants with order entry, cash management, and financing applications.
• Assist ordering parts for customers (arm caps, table legs, hardware, etc.).
• Handle petty cash reconciliation and cash drawer balancing with store manager.
• Audit daily transactions for sales order entry and accuracy.
• Coordinate post-purchase service with customers and track status.
• Schedule deliveries, service calls, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Process service orders and maintain communication with customers.
