Job summary

Bassett Furniture Industries is seeking an entry-level Store Operations Administrator to support daily store operations, customer interactions, and service follow-ups. You will assist with order entry, cash management, deliveries, and service surveys, while upholding Bassett standards in customer relations and operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong problem resolution and conflict management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read, understand and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist design consultants with order entry and cash management.
• Assist ordering parts for customers (arms caps, table legs, hardware, etc.).
• Direct administrative functions, including petty cash reconciliation and cash drawer balancing.
• Audit daily transactions and service orders for accuracy.
• Work with customers to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve post-purchase service concerns.
• Schedule deliveries and service calls; conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
• Process service orders and maintain communication with customers on status.
• Receive purchase orders for parts or store pick-ups.
• Collaborate with store manager on financial and operational tasks.
• Maintain time and attendance; support floor moves and visual standards.
• Tag and update merchandising as needed.
