Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Store Manager in Omaha, NE to lead daily retail operations with a focus on quality and service. You’ll coach staff, manage cash and inventory, and drive performance to meet KPI targets while ensuring safe, compliant repairs and installations.

You’ll collaborate with field leaders to certify technicians, maintain equipment, deliver world-class customer service, and promote health, safety and a positive store culture through hands-on leadership and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or 5–7 years leadership experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in retail or service centers.
• 3–5 years in retail or automotive service environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office tech.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather and lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing, work orders, checks, customer service, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and cash handling.
• Drive KPI performance and meet/exceed goals (NPS, Time to Serve, conversions, quality metrics).
• Ensure technicians are SafeTech-certified and maintain quality installs/repairs.
• Provide guidance on vehicle maintenance and recordkeeping, collaborate with marketing on materials.
• Respond quickly to client complaints and warranty issues; handle all other duties as assigned.
