Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily retail store operations, focusing on delivering quality service and a memorable customer experience. You will provide people leadership, coaching, cash/expense management, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and store appearance.

You will drive team performance to meet KPI targets and company goals, ensure technicians are SafeTech certified, and collaborate with marketing to display materials while maintaining high standards of customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required or 5–7 years of leadership experience.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• 3+ years leadership in retail or service center; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for a mobile workforce.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Professional appearance and PPE as required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, cash handling and inventory management.
• Drive team performance to meet KPI targets and company goals including NPS, Time to Serve and conversions.
• Ensure technicians are SafeTech certified and maintain quality installs/repairs through training and coaching.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure proper materials display and overall store presentation.
• Provide world-class customer service by addressing complaints and warranty issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
