Job summary

The Home Depot in Wisconsin Franklin is seeking a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT). This program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development to prepare you for the Assistant Store Manager role.

During the up-to 6-week training you will learn to manage staffing, stock, customer service, and store operations, collaborating with the Store Manager, ASMs, Home Services and Pro partners to boost sales and profitability across Specialty, Pro and Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience; 3 years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering store management aspects.
• Learn staffing and scheduling, stock management, and customer issue resolution.
• Learn performance management and disciplinary processes for associates.
• Support merchandising, signing, and inventory control.
• Uphold safety policies and SOPs and learn to run store operations.
