The Home Depot is seeking a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT) to gain hands‑on experience across Specialty, Pro, and Services. The six‑week training covers store operations, leadership, and Manager on Duty responsibilities, with mentorship and development opportunities.

During training you will partner with the Store Manager, ASMs, and business partners to learn strategies that boost sales, improve customer service, and drive profitability while upholding company policies

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
• High school diploma and/or GED required

Responsabilidades

• Participate in a structured training program covering store management, operations, sales & profitability, and policies.
• Learn staffing, scheduling, identifying stock deficiencies, supervising associates in selling behaviors, and resolving customer issues.
• Collaborate with Store Manager, ASMs, Home Services, and Pro business partners to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Perform opening and closing MOD and other store-wide responsibilities; follow SOPs and safety protocols to mitigate shrink.
• Maintain safety and hazmat procedures and ensure adherence to Safety Matters guidelines.
