Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Specialty Assistant Store Manager in Training (SASM-IT) in Colorado. Trainees will gain hands-on experience in operations, customer service, and profitability across Specialty, Pro, and Services businesses under mentor guidance.

During the up-to-6 week training, you will learn to execute SASM key responsibilities, with opportunities to lead by example and uphold all company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program covering store management aspects including operations, customer service and profitability.
• Learn to support staffing, scheduling, stock control and selling behaviors within the store.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and adherence to safety policies and SOPs.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost sales and customer satisfaction in Specialty, Pro, and Services.
• Collaborate with Store Manager, ASMs, and business partners to drive store performance.
