Job summary

Turkey Hill is seeking a high-energy retail leader to join our team as a Manager In Training. You’ll support the Store Manager, develop the team, train staff, schedule shifts, and ensure exceptional guest service in a fast-paced convenience store environment.

You’ll learn from experienced managers during official training weeks, rotate through shifts, and help uphold quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards while delivering 100% in-stock products and a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or leadership role in retail/food.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in applicable locations.
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure coffee station, food service area, and restrooms are well-kept.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support food service operations and other duties as assigned by Store or District Manager.
