Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Newport, VT is seeking a Managers In Training to learn operational leadership and daily store management. You will work alongside senior leaders, rotate through shifts, and gain hands-on experience in guest service, merchandising, and team development.

The program prepares you to support the Store Manager and drive a positive guest experience while building a strong, collaborative store team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team, including training and coaching.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock and keep shelves full for 100% in-stock availability.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising and food safety programs where applicable.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and maintain store cleanliness and appearance.
