Job summary

Cumberland Farms is seeking a driven Managers In Training candidate for a full-time role in our store operations. You will learn under Training Managers and Supervising Managers, gaining hands-on experience across guest service, merchandising, and day-to-day management.

You’ll rotate through shifts, develop leadership skills, and contribute to delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience as part of our bench leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels and ensure 100% in-stock across the sales floor.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in hot food locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of store interiors and exteriors, including coffee and food areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support Store Manager and District Manager in duties and constraints as needed.
• Participate in all aspects of the job to deliver the best guest experience.
