Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a full-time Managers In Training candidate with high energy and a passion for customer service. This role supports the Store Manager and helps develop a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.

You will monitor stock, ensure food safety and merchandising standards, and oversee daily operations across shifts. Training weeks build leadership skills; weekend/holiday hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and keep stock in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in hot food locations.
• Maintain a clean store interior and exterior, coffee station, and restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support Store Manager in hot food operations and other duties as assigned.
