Job summary

Cumberland Farms in Vermont seeks a dynamic Stores Manager in Training to lead guest service and team development. You will work with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, rotating shifts to learn operations across a Cumberland Farms location.

The role prepares you to supervise day-to-day store activities, maintain product levels, ensure food safety, and deliver a great guest experience. Growth opportunities span 1500+ sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School or GED.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role.
• ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure 100% in-stock availability.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in hot-food locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of store interior and exterior, including coffee and service areas.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and support day-to-day store operations.
